Vivesa is a horse that I have owned for the last four years. She is an Iberian Sport Horse, double registered, Half-Andalusian. She is extremely sensitive and intelligent, and she was nervous and trusted no one when she came to us. She and I bonded very quickly however, and she has learned to trust me when everything and everyone else scares her.
She was badly mistreated by the people who trained her, and was 'not rideable'. She has been the sweetest horse I have ever known, and she allowed my daughter to ride her when I was there, and she showed us what a beautiful dressage horse could look like. Her natural bend at the poll, and her lateral flexibility all contribute to a stunning look in the ring.
Her beauty inspires me to paint every day that I look at her. Especially now that Ria is gone, she is my closest companion.
